Today on the farm we went to the pumpkin patch. There we learned that the farm had multiple varieties of pumpkins and gourds. The two main pumpkin varieties that they sold were Jack o lantern pumpkins, and pie pumpkins. The farm also had several varieties of decorative gourds ready for the Autumn season. The pumpkins we picked today were relatively small Jack o Lanterns (maybe). What we did was have the truck drive along side us as we picked the big pumpkins from their plants. Once we got the pumpkins, we put them into the back of the truck into gigantic boxes. We did this for most of the day, but in the end we got some amazing time lapse shots of us picking pumpkins and moving along with the truck. One of my favorite things about the time-lapse footage is that you could watch as the clouds passed, formed and dissipated in the sky, all within the length of only a couple seconds.
